A text by Basil Bunting and 4 images by James Hugonin. Since then, imprints has been involved in the creation of over 50 different artist’s book titles. These publications are represented in some of the most important collections in the World and have been in many major exhibitions of lives d’artistes. imprints books are in the national libraries of Britain. France. Holland. Italy. USA. and most prestigious collections. Isabella Oulton and Matthew Tyson have consulted on several exhibitions of artist’s books and they have lectured, in both Europe and the USA, on the subject. Editions and now simply as imprints. Initially the idea was to produce portfolios in the “mappenwerk” tradition that was concurrent with the “livres d’artiste” publications of the 20th century. It was soon apparent that some artists wanted to make single prints and therefore imprints began making individual works as well. imprints print publications have been acquired by many major print
